Our client in Sultanate of Oman (Middle East) is the 5 star luxury hotel chains in the Sultanate of Oman, is a secluded fishing village on the Sultanate’s northern Musandam Peninsula. It is designed with 82 pool villas and pool villa suites and with a private marina. The setting is quite dramatic, with mountains on one side and a 1.6 kilometer sandy beach at Zighy Bay, on the other.

This hotel truly reflects the brand’s positioning of Redefining Experiences. The choice of dining alternatives include a modern brasserie showcasing a multitude of cuisine flavors, a seafood restaurant, a wine cellar holding over 400 wine bins, a very unconventional bar and a stunning dinner experience high atop the mountains overlooking Zighy Bay.

General:

 

The events department is a one stop shop for all kind of events within the hotel including and excluding rooms or even rooms only. The structure of the department is built on 2 teams with a total headcount of 12 people. The team is fully responsible for the event planning process and works very closely with all operational departments within the hotels. It can be also seen as internal event agency.

 

The inventory of both hotels is 820 rooms, 4.000 sqm of conference space plus 13 F&B outlets. The position reports directly to the Director of Events.

 

Main tasks:

•          Event planning and execution                                                 

•          Function sheets / rooming list / site inspections

•          Pre-Con meetings

•          Client hospitality

•          Event Management / Event Consulting

•          Leading and developing people

Requirements:

• A strong and creative personality with solid leadership skills looking for a career
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or even higher position
• Drive for results – out of the box thinking
• Strong operational background on highest quality levels
•  Solid sales skills and understanding
• Team player with high level of cultural awareness
• Fluent in English – written and oral command

BENEFITS FROM THE HOTEL COMPANY:

1. Basic Salary: 5,500.00 AED Monthly                     

2. Job Band: 6

3. Status: Single

4. Housing: Single Furnished accommodation provided by the company.

5. Commodity Allowance: 900.00 AED Monthly

6. Laundry Allowance: 400.00 AED Monthly

7. Airline Ticket: Economy/Excursion Round trip air ticket after the completion of 

   one year of service for self only to country of origin.

8. Bonus: Annual based on Performance/ Achievement of KPO’s based on Local

    Hotel Policy.

9. Medical Insurance: Private Medical Insurance for self only as per local hotel

    medical insurance scheme.

10.Relocation : 40 Kgs Excess baggage’s by Air Freight as Un-accompanied

     baggage
